Day 2

Our second day in Japan was quite full. In the morning we tagged along with my Dad and Kym to their Japanese language lesson. I admire anyone who can learn a language as different as Japanese. I could probably learn to speak it if I was around it a lot, but the reading and writing of it would be very difficult I think. After the Japanese lesson we all walked to Tokyo tower-the tallest free standing tower. Outside the tower a women was putting on a show with her trained monkey. The girls totally got a kick out of that.

After watching the monkey we took the elevators to the observatory floor of the tower and saw yet again just how massive Tokyo is. Seriously huge.

We then walked through a nearby shrine and then on to a JR station to take a train to Yokohama, the second largest city in Japan with the largest Chinatown. We walked around Chinatown and ate the most delicious dumplings ever. Everything we ate in Japan was absolutely delicious. The food was always so fresh. It was funny too because a lot of the places we went had plastic food displays in the windows.

It was a really neat day.
